The article examines the development of educational (training) migration in the Kyrgyz Republic. Problems, caused by an attraction of educational migrants, are defined, including those in the context of economic and demographic security. Possible prospects for the development of the country's educational system are outlined. The policies of several foreign countries towards attracting foreign students are examined. A conclusion is made about the possibilities of developing the national education system as a factor in the economic growth of the state, ensuring the competitiveness of Kyrgyzstan in the global market of educational services
