Problems and prospects of ensuring food security of the region in the conditions of innovative development of the agro-industrial complex

This article examines the significance and essence of innovations in the agro-industrial complex, its advantages, problems and prospects in improving food security in the region. The influence of innovative processes on the food security of the region is noted, the role in improving food security is shown. The system of indicators of innovative processes in the agro-industrial complex in ensuring food security of the region is also defined. The directions for the implementation of innovative processes in the agro-industrial complex while ensuring food security in the conditions of the regions of the Kyrgyz Republic are outlined. The state of agricultural production in the region and its extensive development are analyzed. A number of recommendations are proposed to improve the food security of the population of the region in the conditions of innovative development of the agro-industrial complex
