Problems of the effective use of water resources in the agricultural sector of Kyrgyzstan

The article deals with the actual problems of rational use of water resources in the agricultural sector of Kyrgyzstan, taking into account the requirements of the market and the peculiarities of the economic state of our republic. Negative trends in the use of water in the use of land resources are revealed. Issues related to achieving the desired effect based on the development of new methods and technologies are considered. In addition, the basic principles for the rational use of water resources in the agricultural sector are proposed. The actual state of the rivers and lakes of Kyrgyzstan, which play an important role in the irrigation of agricultural lands, is analyzed. The necessary ways of carrying out work for the modernization of irrigation systems and the introduction of modern technologies, such as drip irrigation, which will reduce water losses and increase land productivity, are proposed
